"All the personnel on the helicopter were killed in an accident, this tragedy reminds us of the risks facing men and women every day, to serve the country," said Jonathan P Braga, director of the Joint Task Force operations.

Mentioned, the exact cause of the accident is still under investigation. But so far the cause is not due to enemy activity or attack, but other factors.

The fall of this helicopter was first reported by the crew on the second helicopter that accompanied it. The two helicopters flew together as the crash. The crash site, near Al-Qaim City, Anbar Province, near the border with Syria, was immediately sterilized by Iraqi security forces and coalitions.
