The 3rd-grade elementary school textbooks of the Pacific War were found in Aisai City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. From the contents of the book is known what is taught to elementary students when the Japanese war.

Some time ago, the textbook titled 'Summer Life' is on display at the Saori Community Center. The book consists of 16 pages printed on A5 paper. The content was edited by a team set up specifically in 1943 to draw up the wartime education curriculum, quoted from the Japan Times, Monday, March 19, 2018.
According to the Aichi Prefectural Education Agency report, the team is also responsible for publishing books, magazines, and holding scientific discussions.

The writing is accompanied by illustrations of drawings and homework for children in the summer.
